1. Compassion is an essential quality for a caregiver. When caring for someone, you need to be able to put yourself in their shoes and understand what they’re going through.
2. When you have integrity, you create a foundation of trust with your clients. You take responsibility for your actions, and you’re willing to admit when you make a mistake.
3. You may have to work with clients who don’t like you or don’t want your help. That requires a lot of patience. It’s also important not to get frustrated when you have to do repetitive tasks or repeat the same information. You’ll keep your cool, even when you’re stressed.
4. You will need to be attentive to your clients — not distracted by your cell phone or anything else.
5. Hard Working.You will need to handle the job’s demands and be willing to go above and beyond for your clients.
6. Your clients will trust you to provide the best care possible, so you will have to take that responsibility seriously. This reliability means you honor the commitments that you have made to Caregivers with Heart and your clients.

At Caregivers with Heart our Caregivers have those qualities!!!  Our Caregivers go through a very thorough criminal background check, must have 1+ year(s) of experience or be certified/ qualified in elder care, provide verification of previous employment history, and references of previous experience & skills. The most important quality we require is that they must have a compassionate and understanding heart.
